As the title implies the article describes the problem of democratization in Moldova and the role of the state capacity in the process. In the empirical studies was fixed steadily the argument, that the state capacity is a necessary condition for democratization. But in what sense is state capacity in Moldova prerequisites to consolidated democracy? It should be stressed, that the main purpose of the study is to identify the trends influence the state capacity on the democratization of Moldova. This article presents an analysis of the implementation of the government’s official rate and the quality of public institutions. As the methodology used strategy case study (single-outcome), which includes a set of different methods of qualitative and quantitative analysis.
