Acute enteric infection for centuries remained among the leading diseases and remain one of the major causes of mortality of children up to 5 years. Majority of diseases fall on developing countries and incidence of economically developed countries remains high. Significant impact on the spread of communicable diseases, including diarrhoeal, have globalization processes influencing the components of epidemic process. Acute enteric infections is the actual problem of Public Health for Chisinau. Incidence rates above the average for the Republic of Moldova. Incidence mainly recorded among children, where the main risk group is children under two years of age. The purpose of this paper is to identify the main patterns of the epidemic process in the period 2002-2013 is in Chisinau. |
