In this article we are going to make a description of the relations between Albania and Romania in foreign language research field, especially in that of the French language as a foreign language. Firstly, we are going to make a short description of the present situation of French language in Albania describing the most important actors in French language teaching. Secondly, we will mention the factors that influence positively in strengthening the relations between Romania and Albania and the present collaborations especially at university level between these two countries. In conclusion, we will give some ideas regarding the future of these relations and what we can predict to have fruitful future collaborations.
