Arcadie Suceveanu creates an own poetic system through an art which combines “the words that call him”. He operates with mythems, characters and archetypal symbols but invents and many imaginary figures, he builds a myth with a protagonist in a continuous identity crisis moving in biblical times and spaces, real and virtual, updating them. Being a professional of chimeras the poet “draws” portraits and self-portraits with palimpsests, presenting a fictional ordinary world or sometimes bizarre. He has the inspiration that Revelation passes through the mirror. Suceveanu is a poet of the linguistic refinement, a bookish artist. He cultivates programmatically a poem of the “dictatorship fantasy”, of the unpredictable ludic, of the volatile imaginary, transfiguring subtly the higher consciousness of a Narcis “lost” in different literary epochs. The poet modernizes “The night-club Middle Age”, “Cafe Nevermore”, he puts up “The apocalyptic machine” of manufacturing postmodern existences of chaos and absurdity.
