In this study is defined one of the major trends shaping business publications in Ukraine, which in the short term has to form its own media system. Communicative integration in Europe, according to the author, has contributed to the dynamic development of media relations; enhance the image of the media market competitive opportunities of Ukrainian media on the international arena. Having considered the socio communicative essence of two Ukrainian business publications «Forbs Ukraine» and «Business Week FT», which are the US and British media business models. Ukrainian media market of business periodicals uses American and British media model as a theoretical basis. Formation of a national media system in Ukraine is not complete and requires further development and improvement. At the same time we can say that the process of transition from the Soviet Ukrainian media to the democratic model is characterized by the inheritance of the British and American professional standards, traditions, and major trends, particularly in the business media. Orientation to the world famous brands that use proven and improved mechanisms and strategies for the formation of economic means of mass communication and information confirms one of the effective ways to build a national information space. |
