Joining the European Union and having integrated within different unions and associations favored the development of English legal terminology. Due to the prevalence of the English language in international business relations and having an important role in legal language within the European Union, the interest and the importance of studying Legal Language has increased. An understanding of legal terminology is valuable in many different situations. Businessmen, politicians, public servants, accountants…in fact many different professions need a solid understanding of legal terminology.
