In this article, we intend to apply the phenomenological concept of Lester Embree, a professor at Florida Atlantic University (USA) for analysis of the photographic image. Besides this fact, the interpretations of Roland Barthes on photography are empathised. Which allowed us to establish the priorities and benefits of the reflective analysis method in order to understand the true essence of photography. |
