The concept of artistic freedom is a morphological indicative attested in any type of musical culture. In the creation of Ch.Ives, J.Cage, I.Xenakis, inve-stigated by the author of this article, we find the notion of freedom reformulated and connotative-multidimensional, referring to the artistic thinking, to the new possibilities to make value, to the music release of tempered system, as well as opening new ideational horizons by means of research and collaboration bet-ween musicians and scientists. In the case of musical culture from the second half of the 20th century, the works of composers J.Cage and I.Xenakis are the argument to implementing the theory of K.Popper, according to which the artistic creation presents the largest manifestation of free choice. From another point of view, was determined, in the case of these thinkers of sounds art: J.Cage - the founder of aleatoric music and I.Xenakis - the founder of stochastic music, the reformulation of the concept of artistic freedom due to the tendency of detachment of the creator of spiritual va-lues from any type of constraints: from the choice of sound material which will serve to formulate the artistic message until the manner of interpretation of the work in its final version |
