The present article represents a dialogical model of interpretation of the human being’s image and the artistic world’s resemblance in the novel Viaţa şi moartea nefericitului Filimon... written by Vladimir Beşleagă. The author demonstrates that the heroes’ conscience may be understood as a complex interaction of opposite voices and realities from inner and outer world. The ontologic rapport between physical and spiritual, life and death, good and bad etc., or the relation between epistemological concepts objective and subjective, truth and deceit, knowingness and incognizance etc., are illustrated in the direct and indirect interaction between heroes’ voices. All the antithetic voices are represented by two main existential polarities unified in a dialogic relation: masculine-feminine. This relation displays the dual essence of the human conscience and the ceaseless interior collision which determines the human destiny.
