This article represents the afterword’s text to the volume of poetry Margareta Curtescu, poèmes obliques, Vinea Publishing House, Bucharest, 2015, translated into French and launched at the Paris Book Fair. Throughout the book, which is a selection of all the author’s volumes previously published, an unmistakable lyrical identity is emphasized. The utterance’s authenticity of the own affective itinerary and the consciousness of the bookish naturally intertwine, the reverberations of the sincerity and the culture are being completed. An indoubitable structural refinement, an organic discretion is always associatied with the creative act. The fears, the emotional declines, the feeling of defeat, the awareness of the existential derision, „the torments” of the writing etc. are attenuated in states of melancholic reverie, are subtilized in expressions with soft reliefs.
