Rezumat | ||||||
The present article is dedicated to a debatable issue in modern historiography: problem of the nation, historians haven’t developed a common definition of the term “nation” yet. Sources of ancient and late ancient epochs testify to the existence of the term “nation” used to denote a “barbarian” population less underdeveloped than Greek or Roman civilizations. I believe that it’s necessary to carry out fundamental survey of the present period’s sources in order to explain the problem of the formation of nations in the following historic epochs. |
