Statistics on the number of sedentary Gypsies deported from Bessarabia to Transdniestria during the Second World War is the key aspect of this article. Each deported person was a part of one of the seven categories elaborated by the authorities. Based on archival records, we tried to reconstruct the statistical picture of each category and district of deported sedentary Gypsies. |
