In economy of post-war Europe have been developed neoliberal ideas which were originally introduced in economic policy of the Western Germany. The founders of this doctrine were members of the staff of Freiburg university: L.Erhard, W.Ropke, Fr.Bohm, A.Muller-Armak, and, mainly, the professor Walter Eucken. The economic order which would guarantee the rights, freedom from totalitarianism, advantage, responsibility of the person recognizing the law and rules, caused by real life, is the main ideas of a neoliberalism or an ordoliberalism (from German Ordnung - an order) on the one hand, and on the other: free competition, open markets, an eternal
private property, economic isolation of business, free transactions, accountability of everyone for their economic activity, minimum state intervention in the economy- these basic principles became the foundation for the market economy social oriented model. Introduction of this model led to creation of economy which is called “The German economic miracle” in literature. |
