Rezumat

To acquire practical skills students should solve cases taken from the practice of companies acting on Moldovan market. For this purpose, the authors have elaborated a guide containing case studies, tasks, applications for seminars on Marketing,consisting of 5 sections and 17 topics on Marketing.Case studies develop the analytical and marketing thinking. The logical approach on the matter concerned is a good training for intuition and decision making capacity, it contributes to evaluation of alternatives and selection of the alternative corresponding to the optimal choice. A case study serve as basis for debates in group under professor’s guidance. Students should understand that they assume all risks while taking a decision, but professor should explain what are the consequences of taking a hasty decision. To be well-understood by the audience a case study should contain maximum true information and some concrete facts about the company. The discussion of a case study should follow the following steps: discussion of the information contained in the case study;1. putting in evidence the information on which the student group should work;2. exchange of opinions and making a plan of work on the issue concerned;3. debates in group on the issue concerned;4. taking a decision on this issue;5. debates between executives to take the final decision;6. preparation of report and short essay.7. Debates on a case study can be conducted via the following methods: method “lecture- seminar”, conversation method, method “situation-problem”, experimentation, simulation, practical works, casestudy, brainstorming.
