The article is dedicated to four short poetical forms: haïku, tanka, renga, waka, originated from the Japanese and oriental poetics, but which in the course of time had left
the frontiers of the native country and had “accomodated” for example, in French poetics. In France, in the XXth century and at the beginning of the XXIst century a series of
Anthologies of the Japanese short poems from Matsuo Bashô to Hekigodo had appeared in translation. There is also a series of French authors who wrote in haïku and who succeded
to ilustrate plenary all possibilities of this borrowed microgenre. All these moments from world literature are less known and we wish to avoid this gap at least partially through this modest study. |
