The Academy of Sciences of Moldova, the Romanian Academy and the Romanian Cultural Institute „Mihai Eminescu” of Chişinău organized between 14th and 16th of May, 2012, in Chişinău and Iaşi, the International Scientific Conference Bessarabia –
1812. National problem, international implications. Noted historians from 10 countries participated in this event, about a 100 of science communications have been presented, discussions and debates concerning the controversial issues have taken place. The Scientific Conference featured the central event, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the conclusion of the Bucharest Peace Treaty, when Bessarabia, the piece of land situated between Prut and Nistru rivers (Bessarabia), was comprised into Russian Empire. The conference communications will be published
and diffused within the national and international scientific field. |
