Bondița este o parte integrantă a portului popular din Republica Moldova, în toată regiunea Carpaților și nu numai. Această piesă are o tipologie in funcție de localitate, zonă, anotimp, statut social al purtătorului, materiale, decor, tehnologii și tehnici de realizare. Este prezentată informația despe arta cojocăritului meșterilor din Moldova și alte țări europene. Variază schema croiului și broderiei bondiței, materialele folosite, etapele și tehnologiile de confecționare. Putem admira forma, materialele și arta broderiei pe bondițele-pieptarele din colecţiile muzeelor din Republica Moldova şi din alte ţări europene. Motive specifice artei tradiționale sunt folosite în broderiile și alte elemente decorative, care sunt realizate în diferite tehnici. Elementele de decor sunt prezentate prin ornamentică fitomorfă, stilizată și geometrică. Este folosită prelucrarea pieilor prin tehnici srăvechi cu ajutorul instrumentelor specifice tradiționale în combinație cu tehnologii moderne. În ultimele decenii bondițele tradiționale au atras atenția celebrilor creatori de modă de nivel mondial, dar și designerii autohtoni au găsit sursa de inspirație în portul popular. Unele piese din colețiile creatorilor de modă sunt inspirate din bondiță, ceea ce arată creșterea nivelului de interes către arta tradițională, prezentată prin portul popular

Бондица является неотъемлемой частью традиционного костюма Республики Молдова, во всем Карпатском регионе и за его пределами. Прослеживается типология этого предмета одежды в зависимости от местности, района, времени года, социального статуса владельца, материалов, отделки, технологий и приемов. Представлена информация об искусстве кожевенных мастеров Молдовы и других стран Европы, о том, как меняется схема кроя и вышивки бисером, используемые материалы, этапы и технологии изготовления. Мы можем наблюдать формы, материалы и искусство вышивки на жилетах из кожи и ткани из коллекций музеев Республики Молдова и других европейских стран. Узоры, характерные для традиционного искусства, используются в вышивке и других декоративных элементах, выполненных в разных техниках. Элементы декора представлены стилизованным растительным и геометрическим орнаментом. Обработка кожи осуществляется по старинным методикам с использованием специфических традиционных инструментов в сочетании с современными технологиями. В последние десятилетия традиционные жилеты привлекли внимание известных модельеров мирового уровня, местные дизайнеры также нашли источник вдохновения в народном костюме. Некоторые изделия из коллекций модельеров вдохновлены бондицей, что свидетельствует о повышении уровня интереса к традиционному искусству, представленному через народный костюм.

Bondița is an integral part of the popular port of the Republic of Moldova, throughout the Carpathian region and beyond. This item of clothing has a rich terminology and typology, depending on the area, region, season, social status of the owner, materials, finishes, technologies and techniques. Information on the art of leather craftsmen from Moldova and other European countries is presented. The scheme of cutting and embroidery of the bead varies, the materials used, the stages and the technologies of making. We can observe the forms, materials and art of embroidery on leather and fabric vests from the collections of museums in the Republic of Moldova and other European countries. Patterns specific to traditional art are used in embroidery and other decorative elements, which are made in different techniques. Stylized floral and geometric ornaments are represented decor elements. The leather processing is done according to ancient methods by using specific traditional tools combined with modern technologies. In recent decades, traditional vests have attracted the attention fashion designers of world class, but local designers have also found inspiration in the folk costume. Some pieces are inspired from the fashion designers’ collections by the bonditsa, indicating a rising level of interest in traditional art presented through folk costume.
