Physical education and sports are motor activities of an educational-formative nature that have proven their roles in all stages of human development, regardless of the type of society, acting for health, creating a favorable climate for socialization, asserting human personality in general. Physical education, also called Phys Ed., PE, physical training or practical training, is a discipline provided in the curricula, whose objective is to increase the physical and mental potential, both personally and socially, taking into account the particularities of age. and the type of students. In short, physical education aims to develop students from four points of view, namely: physical, mental, emotional and social. Physical education is a component of general education, achieved through a motor activity, which takes place in an organized setting and with a precise purpose, given the optimization of the biomotor and mental potential of students and components of the cognitive, affective sphere. and social-relational.
