The habitat is an area or space for an intimate, particular set of physical and topographical conditions in which man lives that affect the quality of its adaptation. For every person has a personal stamp home life spent in it, rather than status and is filled with memories, events, meanings and significance. The elderly are less likely to change in general and especially for those living in the same house for many years, housing becomes part of himself. Moving from an older person familiar place in an institution, or even in an environment similar to their own home, causes disruption and stress reactions. Institutionalization depersonalizes the elderly and put barriers between the aged man and the outside world leading to loss of certain roles that are part of their identity.
