Self-image shows how we perceive our own emotional, physical, social, cognitive and spiritual characteristics. Because self-image formation is a process that begins at an early age, in the family, it is the role of teachers to coordinate training and development, so that the child can form a vision of the world. Using the right tools, the teacher can meet the proposed educational objectives. Thus, the auxiliary Read and know yourself! it will prove to be the “school textbook” that will have the role of guiding the teacher's activity, reading becoming a fundamental formative factor in becoming the self. Auxiliary Read and get to know yourself! designed for use by students, in the optional subject of the same name, has as a starting point the hypothesis that if methods appropriate to literary-artistic education are applied to form the self-image of primary school students in the process of receiving the literary text, then the quality of the self-image will be better. The choice of reading as a way of forming self-image in students is not accidental, because through reading a vision of the world can be developed in students, through the real self, the unreal self, the future self. |
