Rezumat

Some terms used in the commerce for designation of products may have a geographical sense including a combination of words: “Swiss cheese”,“Chardonnay”, or sintered cheese “Philadelphia”. At the same time, in the above cases the word “Swiss” is used as a generic notion, “Nupa Valley” – is a geographical indication and “dNase” – an element of a mark. The geographic indication is an expression which shall reflect a relation “locality-product” that permits to the producers from the different geographical localities to obtain the right on such a term for indication the fact that the corresponding good is originated from this locality.
