Background. 1,2,4-triazole derivatives show increasing interest in the development of antifungal and antibacterial drugs. Due to their dipole character and ability to bind hydrogen, triazoles act as pharmacophores by interacting with high-affinity biological receptors. Objective of the study. Study of antifungal and antimicrobial activity, determination of the sensitivity of species and bacteria: Aspergillus fumigatus, Bacillus subtilis against Nitrotriazone. Material and Methods. NCCLS M38 standardized methods for determining the sensitivity of species and bacteria. Standardized fungal species; reference drugs: ketoconazole, bifonazole, chloramphenicol. Results. Nitrotriazone is a derivative with high antifungal potential (MIC 0.07 mM and CMF 0.1 mM), it also has antibacterial activity, especially on gram-negative bacteria (MIC / CMB ranging from 0.0006 to 0.0013 mM). The presence of 2,4-Cl-C6H4 and 4-NO2-C6H4 substituents is beneficial for antifungal and antibacterial activity. Conclusion. 1,2,4-Triazole derivatives provide an inevitable field for the advancement of potential new antifungal and antibacterial candidates that have better efficacy and selectivity. |
