The article analyzes the institutionalization and evolution of relations between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union. It investigates the political and legal framework of the relations between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union and, first of all, the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement, which is the basis of the legal framework of bilateral relations between the two states. Also, we investigated the Policy of the European Neighbourhood Policy Action Plan, the European Union – Republic of Moldova (2005 to 2008), the Republic of Moldova in the framework of the Eastern Partnership, as well as the Association Agreement between Moldova and the European Union, which is the first step towards the integration into the European community. |
