This paper highlights the importance of geographical disciplines in the analysis of spaces in military, political and geopolitical terms. Most conclusive examples of mandatory knowledge of physical - geographical natural and social - human environment economically and politically are highlighted. This knowledge has an impact on the outbreak of military conflicts, registering repercussions on political eography and geopolitics. It supported the idea that the Military Geography is a prelude to the emergence and completion of the mentioned above sciences. There are considered the most important criteria demonstrating dependent and interlinked connections in these sciences represented by outstanding personalities of certain schools.
