The article presents the results of the study of the exterior of the trunk and udder of first-heifers of the first ecological generation in the herd of the breeding farm of Joint Stock Company “Aydyn”. The aim of the research was to study the exterior, shapes and morphological properties of the udder, as well as a preliminary assessment of the level of milk production for 90 days of lactation at first-heifers of the first ecological generation of the Holstein breed. The body in length was better developed at first-heifers cows - descendants of the bull Kiperush – in terms of the elongation index they exceeded their peers by 1.0%. In terms of the pelvic and breast indices, the offspring of the bull Form exceeded their peers - the Kiperush offspring, respectively, by 1.9 and 1.4%. The bone index in comparison with the standard turned out to be on average by 8.3% lower, which is due to the high height at the withers of Holstein cows. The daughters of the bull Form excelled the daughters of the bull Kiperush by 4.0% in udder width and by 2.9% in udder length. The length of the front nipples was within 5.5cm for the daughter of Form and 5.6cm for the daughter of Kiperush, the rear ones – were 4.9 and 5.2cm.
