This work is dedicated to the social processes, accompanying the Health Reform in
Moldova. The author analyzes the materials of three representative sociological studies carried
out in Moldova in 2001-2007 on the basis of national representative sample. The stereotypes of
the population concerning their health and use of medical service are traced. There are revealed
the social factors, stipulating the state of health in conditions of Moldova and the relations
between the doctor and the patient. The analysis of the behavior at the labor market was
effectuated in connection with the social and demographic characteristics of the population in the
urban and rural areas. The article provides the study of public opinion on the occasion of health
care system reforming in асordance with the standards of developed countries. The dynamics of
public opinion is traced, the arising problems are revealed.
