The intellectual property protection was never of such great economical and political importance
and was not so disputed than nowadays, but from all the intellectual property objects the most
disputable are the geographical indications (GI). A product bearing the geographical indication differs
of the other products of the same category by the fact that the GI represents a guarantee of the
especial quality of the product, owing to its origin. The GI protection is important for each link of
the ring production-commercializing- consumption, and therefore, for the national economy on the
whole. |
