Rezumat

The role of the Turkic factor and its heritage in various spheres of the political, economic and cultural development of this huge region - the center of intertwining and mutual influence of eastern and western civilizations - remains an actual issue in the study of the Middle Ages and early modernity of Southeast Europe, and undoubtedly in historical and archaeological research. A special place in its study belongs to the history of migration, settlement and cultural manifestation of the powerful movement of the Oguz tribes who overcame vast distances in Asia, found their place in the south of Eastern Europe and filled the lands of a significant part of Asia Minor. The results of research indicate the need for further comprehensive studies of burial and settlement sites of the Oguzes of South Russia in general, including the characteristics of regional population groups. The issues of further research of the early Turkic enclaves of Southern Europe, the genesis of the Gagauz people and its history, which directly related to the lands of modern Ukraine and Moldova, remain very topical. The issues of mutual relations and cultural ties between Rus and the South Stream of the Oguzes are also insufficiently studied. However, the Oguz of the northern stream, which settled in the South of Eastern Europe, and the South Stream, settled in Western Asia, and represented the Seljuk culture and long traditions of the cosmogonic level characteristic of the Turkic peoples
