Rezumat | ||||||
The current international security environment is constantly dictated by the confrontation between geostrategic interests, values, beliefs and perceptions, democracy and totalitarianism, transnational terrorist, criminal networks and rational political forces from the states engaged in the process of democratization. These dichotomies create a complex, dynamic and conflicting society that directly affects the stability of the international security system. The context of international relations at the beginning of the 21st century shows that measures to strengthen the international security system must derive from the development of an international and regional collective security system. Within this international collective security system, an important role should be given not only to the increasing importance of international organizations in resolving the conflicts that have arisen, but also to the active promotion of stability in the area of state borders and the regulation of transnational corporations. |
