Regulatory authorities from the banking and non-banking financial sector and the consumer protection authority in financial markets should take a proactive approach, in collaboration with reactive actions, to ensure that financial markets work well for consumers. Such an approach could greatly contribute to rebuilding consumer confidence in financial markets and to prevent harmful consumer transactions. Regulatory authorities from the banking and non-banking financial sector and the authority responsible for consumer protection in the financial markets, should adopt a proactive approach, in collaboration with reactive actions, to ensure that financial markets work well for consumers. Such an approach could contribute significantly to rebuilding consumer confidence in financial markets and to prevent harmful consumer transactions. |
