Rezumat

Animated fi lms are often inspired by such sources as art and culture, being refl ection of spirituality, including traditions and national customs. As the most signifi cant fi lms, which stand up to globalization and uniformity, keeping uniqueness of the cultural universe, they were edifi ed on strong national grounds, comprising fairy-tales, legends and myths. Obviously, in the Moldovan fi lmography a distinct place belongs to the fi lms, which descend to the national sources, forming a complex landscape of traditional village, especially series about Guguță of Constantin Bălan. These fi lms keep a breath of a patriarchal world of Moldovan village from 1960–1970s, when people had a strong relation with the nature, and traditions and customs were sacredly hollowed. Especially expressive the universe of national autohton traditions refl ect the fi lms of such fi lmmakers as Constantin Bălan (Noapte de Revelion, Ploaia), Leonid Domnin (Marița, Poveste despre vânător), Iriue Cațap și Leonid Gorohov (Haiducul), Ana Evtușenco (Misiunea), the fi lm of the children’s studio Floricica (În această noapte vor dansa și stelele), inspired by the fairy-tales of Spiridon Vangheli.
