This paper describes a new association of small shrubs on the calcareous slopes of the Dniester river basin (Republic of Moldova and Ukraine). The association includes West Pontic, xerophilous, calciphilic phytocoenoses. Characteristic species – Lembotropis nigricans and Melampyrum arvense. The given association has been included in the alliance Prunion fruticosae Tx. 1952, ord. Prunetalia spinosae Tx. 1952, cl. CRATAEGO-PRUNETEA Tx. 1962 (Mucina et al. 2016) |
