Concerning the degree of moisture and heat supply necessary for crops development, by the landscape character, the Dniester basin territory can be divided in 10 zones, agro-climatic regions, five of which belong to mountain and pre-mountain areas. This regionalization includes several steps and their generalization represents the final product. We note that such research for the study area is carried out firstly. So the Dniester basin surface constitutes 68.627 km2 and the hydrographical basin area is 72.100 km2. The coordinates of the Source are 46°21′N 30°14′E and at the Mouth - 46°18′13.26″N 30°16′24.19″E. The difference in altitude represents 1.000 m (fig. 1). |
