Rezumat

The article presents data on the reaction of perspective lines and approved varieties of common winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) at different temperature levels (4, 14, 22°C). Based on important growth and development characteristics (germination, root length, stem length) we calculated the grain vigor index, variance (genotypic, phenotypic), coefficients of variation (genotypic, phenotypic), heritability in a broad sense, genetic advantage of characters. It was concluded about the opportunity of the genotypes under study for involvement in breeding programs in order to improve the resistance to cold.
