The world vegetable production sector has an increase trend of development which is due to several factors: increase of population number, increase of family income and improved of buying capacity, development of over sea rapid transportation of fresh vegetables, etc. Glass greenhouses in Europe take 73% of the world glass greenhouse area. Area of glass greenhouses remains quite stable during the last 10-15 years. The largest area of plastic greenhouse a placed in Asia - 926 000 ha and area of this type of constriction has a high trend to increase. Low tunnels and cover fleas for production of early vegetables became rather popular in Europe and Asia. |
