Rezumat

In the article, the author analyzes the theoretical foundations of the study of the research abilities of older preschool children. Research by psychologists shows that at the age of six, important changes take place in the child’s mind, the result of which is a strong and final predominance of the desire to explore the world. Research abilities are classified as individual psychological characteristics of the person, ensuring the successful implementation of research activities and research activities of the child.
