This article will analyze the artistic vision of the Romantic poets, as opposed to the concept of beauty that interests us, focusing on some of the best known romantic poets at European level, Lord Byron and William Wordsworth. We will compare Wordsworth's attitude with Byron's attitude towards the concept of "beauty" in relation to the romantic movement of the eighteenth century. In addition, we will limit ourselves to poems such as, specifically "Wandered Lonely as Cloud", "Prelude", "Lyrical Ballads", "The Idiot Boy", "The Tables Turned", "The World is Too Much with us" by Wordsworth and "Childe Harold's Pilgrimage", "Abydos's Bride", "She walks in beauty" by George Gordon Byron, better known as Lord Byron. |
