Rezumat

The purpose of this article is to assess vaccination coverage of children aged 15-26 months in various sectors of Chisinau and the factors that infl uence its level. Were analyzed data from medical records of immunization 510 children aged 15-26 months selected a random sample of all the 5 sectors of Chisinau. It has been shown that, for doses of vaccines that children should get at the age of one year and a year according to vaccination schedule, with the exception of the fi rst dose of BCG, immunization coverage is below the prescribed NPI (≥ 95%), with the lowest coverage observed for vaccine MMR (86,1 ± 4,6%). It was found that 3050% of children are vaccinated out of the calendar dates. There is considerable variation in the analyzed parameters in the various sectors of Chisinau, which is associated with a different skill level of family physicians and specialists. The most common unfounded contraindications to vaccination are encephalopathy (69,7 ± 8,3%), hemangioma (13,9 ± 6,2%) and anemia (11,5 ± 5,7%). Because of the failure of immunization were not introduced 33,7 ± 4,0% of doses of vaccines for immunization of eligible children, and 6,1 ± 2,0% – for no apparent reason. In order to achieve the level of coverage provided by the NPI, is need to organize continuous training of family doctors and specialists, which are relevant to counseling children and permit immunization.
