Wound infections still represent one of the major issues of medicine due to the high morbidity and even mortality and to the economic consequences on patients and hospitals involved. The aim of our study is to determine the etiological spectrum and the therapeutically diffi culties of the wound infections. Our stady has included 346 bacterial strains isolated from wounds secretion. The etiological spectrum was dominated by S. aureus and E. coli. The isolated bacterial strains have presented different levels of resistance to antibiotics.
