Detailed analysis of seismological data of Vrancea strong intermediate-depth Vrancea
earthquakes 4.03.1977 (MG=7,2) and 30.08.1986 (MG=7.0) showed, that the curves β(Т)
essentially differ from normative. For high buildings β(Т)) can really be up to 2,5 higher in
comparison with normative values. The conclusion about necessity of seismic strengthening of
architectural elements of top of the multistory building is made.
