Rezumat | ||||||
Knowledge is not a science yet, as well as the fact that a person who possesses knowledge towards a subject can not be declared a scientist. Knowledge is only a part of the science, a products of the scientific activity which appears when a research project has already been absorbed by its result. If the science is reduced to knowledge and its products, this optic suggests teaching science as a product, reducing the education process to transmitting and absorbing the results and the information acquired. On the contrary case, the intendment of science as process and method, without underestimating the importance of products and knowledge, proposes the assimilation of science as process and method of exploring the reality, as well as searching, investigating and elaborating new pieces of information, already known by the humankind, for students through their own efforts. |
