Rezumat

Change is a permanence and a reality of our daily lives. Whether we like it or not, change occurs at the individual or organizational level. Some companies perceive change as a natural evolution, they are used to it. But others perceive it as a threat and do not respond in a timely manner to survive an increasingly turbulent environment. People and organizations need time to get used to change, but at the moment the pace of change is so fast that companies face permanent changes and no longer have to remain inactive, inflexible. Companies today need a dynamic structure that can adapt and evolve continuously, an structure that can generate new projects, which can grow and can be divided into new categories and areas, which can recover after failures and can evolve. In one of his latest works "Accelerated: Building Strategic Agility for a Faster-Moving World" (2014) Kotter extends the idea of the 8-step model of organizational change, presented in 1996 by making improvements. These changes lead to increaseasing managerial performance in terms of how to implement changes within the organization, in order to quickly adapt the management system to the transformations they have outside, in order to maximize all opportunities and avoid eminent dangers.
