The article deals with current issues related to Gagauz children’s practical mastering of their mother tongue as a means of communication. The search for new approaches to the study and dissemination of the Gagauzian language in Gagauzia should be primarily aimed at expending of the sphere of the use of the Gagauzian language, as well as creating a fine system of teaching the language, focusing on speaking skills development and promoting the native/ Gagauzian language. This requires new techniques in teaching Gagauzian as a subject in Russian-medium schools with Gagauzian pupils. |
