This article is dedicated to the assessment of the role of morphopathology in the diagnosis process in pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology in the Republic of Moldova. The main directions, goals and objectives are highlighted and the attention paid on some historical backgrounds and characteristics of clinical morphopathology. The actuality of the work is also supported by evaluation of peculiarities of periodization of the development of human organism and of pathologic processes in the morphologic life-time and postvital diagnosis, as well as of registration criteria of stillbirth and live-birth children, definition of the prenatal, perinatal, neonatal and infant mortality, all of these represent an organizational, methodic and training material for continues medical education of the specialists in the field of morphopathology, which take part in the clinical practice and diagnostic process in pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology.
