Alexei Mateevici is the author of a great big literary writing regarding the volume of it. Above all he was a very talented poet and a very creative translator who rendered through his pure view and conveyd to the reader the dreams that made him lively, the wishes of the basarabian peasantry whom he loved so deeply, the sacred national aspirations of his people as a whole. |
