Tourism is one of the fastest growing sectors of the world economy. The development of tourism contributes to the growth of the economy through the accumulation of capital in 12 types of activity typical of the industry, attracting into its activity about 20 related industries, providing approximately 140 services inherent in tourism. Over the next 10 years, the tourism sector in Moldova can grow 10 times, which will ensure GDP growth of up to 3% by stimulating business development, creating jobs and attracting foreign tourist dollars. |
