Rezumat

Vegetables growing (peas, soybeans, beans, chick peas, lentils, seeds…peanuts) ensure food’s, fodder’s and industry’s security. They are the main source of proteins, contribute to the soil’s fertility valorification and are excellent precursors in crop rotations. Plants ensure 14,0-45,8q/ha grain production with 19,5-40,3% protein content in grains, having a great social and economic effect. In the Laboratory of Genetics and Improvement of Vegetables Growing were created 21 sorts, out of which 12 (2-soybeans, 3-peanuts, 2-chick peas, 2-lentils, 1-grains) were homologated and implemented in agriculture.
