Working time is a strategic resource for any institution. Although it seems simple, but rational use of time is a difficult task for most managers. Difficulty of wise management of working time is proportional to the complexity of the organization and to the number of people involved toward achieving a common goal. In the absence of an active time management, labor productivity is only 25-30% of production capacity. Low productivity generates conflict situations and pressure production – unpleasant phenomena that may become a “business card” of the organization. There are four practical issues that can significantly increase labor productivity, without getting into the production pressure: (1) using time management software and gadgets; (2) training in the field of employees; (3) full independence and autonomy of time manager in decision-making process; (4) accountability, and retribution of „power vertical” and „ordinary” employees according to labor productivity. |
