| Rezumat | ||||||
The rights of minors in conflict with the law have at European level a multidimensional reflection, realized through international treaties, Council of Europe, European Union and Member States instruments. Despite of the existing provisions, the minimum standards in the area of the rights of minors in conflict with the law are not determined. Thus, EU Member States' domestic provisions are different in this respect. While ensuring a common European future, it is necessary to prevent juvenile delinquency, which will help to reduce crime phenomenon through the adoption of UE legislation in the field of protection of minors in conflict with the law. |
