Rezumat

The present study presents a characteristic of the juridical status of the SSR Moldova, which in accordance with the provisions of the constitutions of URSS from 1963 and 1977and of our constitutions from 1941 and 1978, was officially a soviet socialist sovereign state, with proper supreme state bodies: legislative, executive and judicial; having the right to elaborate and to endorse the laws of the republic, to have different prerogatives in directing the social‑political, economical and cultural domains, but which are really under the dictate of the PCUS leadership and of the supreme bodies of the state power from the Soviet Union.
